Do I need an account?

What does MeetWing do?
A paper airplane flies across your desktop with a meeting title and countdown — or a personal reminder you set for a specific day. No calendar required for personal nudges.
Do I need calendar credentials to try it?
No. Test Flight works immediately with sample meetings, and personal reminders never need Google or Calendly.
What are personal reminders?
One-shot nudges you create yourself — title, optional note, date, and time (or all-day at 9:00 am). MeetWing flies them across your screen without a calendar.

How do I connect Google Calendar?
Open the dashboard → Connected Calendars → Connect Google. Finish OAuth in the browser. MeetWing only requests calendar read access.
How do I connect Calendly?
Same place — Connect Calendly. Upcoming scheduled events merge onto the Flight tab with a Calendly badge.
How do I add a personal reminder?
Open Reminders in the sidebar. Add a title, optional note, date, and time — or check All day to fly at 9:00 am. No calendar connection required.
Can I change when meeting reminders fly?
Yes. Lead time options are 1, 5, 10, or 15 minutes before the meeting (default 5).
Can I customize the airplane?
Yes. Appearance offers twenty colorways, custom hex, path height, and uploading your own plane image.
What happens when I close the window?
MeetWing stays in the menu bar on autopilot. Use Quit MeetWing from the tray, or ⌘Q, to fully quit.
Can I pause reminders?
Yes. Pause / resume from the menu bar tray menu anytime — it covers both meetings and personal reminders.
Does MeetWing send my calendar data anywhere?
No. MeetWing only requests Google calendar.readonly (and optional Calendly read scopes). Tokens and calendar data stay on your machine. Full details: shipwithajay.com/products/meetwing/privacy.
Will the overlay interrupt my work?
The overlay is click-through, so you can keep typing while your wingman flies by. It never steals focus.
Does it work over screen shares?
The overlay is designed not to grab clicks or keyboard focus. Some exclusive full-screen spaces may still cover overlays — a macOS limitation.
How large is the download?
The universal macOS DMG is roughly 180 MB including Electron runtime.
Does MeetWing auto-update?
Yes. Packaged builds check the public S3 update feed and offer updates when available.
Test Flight does nothing
Check which display Settings → Display points at. On multi-monitor setups the overlay may appear on another screen.
Google or Calendly connect fails
Confirm OAuth credentials are configured for the build you are using, and that you completed the browser consent flow without cancelling.
Reminders are not firing
Confirm Pause Reminders is off. For meetings, connect a calendar and check the lead-time window (all-day calendar events are ignored). For personal reminders, confirm the date and time — late ones are skipped once the window passes.
I missed a reminder while the app was quit
Missed reminders are not replayed by design. When MeetWing is running again, it only reminds for upcoming meetings and future personal reminders.
macOS blocks the app on first open
Right-click the app → Open, or allow it in System Settings → Privacy & Security after a notarized install.
