Which platforms are supported?
macOS, Windows, and Linux are in the product. Public downloads will follow when MeetDring is rolled out. Until then, email support@shipwithajay.com to enquire.
Do I need an account?
No account, no trial, no paid tier. Settings and sip stats stay on your machine.
What does MeetDring do?
A desktop companion walks onto your screen on a schedule and asks you to take a sip. You can snooze, pause, or drink now from the tray.
Is it available to download yet?
MeetDring is in development on this site until it is marked rolled out. Reach out at support@shipwithajay.com if you want early access or to follow along.
Who made MeetDring?
Ajay Kumar Choudhary (@shipwithajay), founder and developer at Froiden Technologies — the same desk as MeetWing.
How often does it remind me?
Default is 45 minutes. Presets include 15, 30, 45, 60, 90, and 120 minutes, or any value from 5 to 240.
Can I snooze?
Yes. Snooze from 1 to 120 minutes (presets 5, 10, 15, 30, 60). The companion walks off sadly and comes back later.
What are active hours?
Reminders only fire inside a window you set (default 09:00–21:00). Overnight windows are supported. Outside hours, the next visit waits until start.
Can I pause without quitting?
Yes. Pause and resume from Settings or the tray menu.
Does it launch at login?
Optionally. Launch at login opens hidden so the companion is ready without a window.
Can I customize the message?
Yes. Reminder and snooze lines are customizable (up to 80 characters). Default reminder: “Time for a sip 💧”.
Does MeetDring send my sip data anywhere?
No. Daily sips, reminders, and snoozes are stored locally. There is no account and no cloud sync of hydration stats.
Will the overlay interrupt my work?
The overlay is click-through except for the speech bubble and buttons. It is designed not to steal keyboard focus.
Does it work on multiple displays?
The companion walks in on the active display and repositions if you change screens.
Does MeetDring auto-update?
Packaged builds will check a public update feed after rollout, the same idea as MeetWing.
I do not see a public download

The companion appears on the wrong screen
It follows the active display. Click the screen you are using, or trigger Drink now from the tray.
Reminders are not firing
Confirm Pause is off and the current time is inside active hours. After sleep, MeetDring resumes with the next visit.
macOS blocks the app on first open
Right-click the app → Open, or allow it in System Settings → Privacy & Security after a signed install.
